Even after her death, he kept all her books carefully. According to Sonu, whenever he does a film, at first he goes to read books, which are placed in her mother’s library. In those books, he will definitely find something that is interesting and also important for his character in the movie.

Sonu further says that after getting ‘Paltan’, he read his mother’s books and he found a line in that book. Then he shared the line with JP Dutta, which also became a part of the film.
